In 2023, I joined forces with MEIJT. to launch the project called Tell Me About It. This is a literally outspoken campaign aimed at breaking the taboo surrounding conversations about suicide. It’s an important step towards openly discussing a topic that often remains shrouded in silence.

How do you talk about suicide?

What do you say to someone who is thinking about suicide? We’ve been asked that question a lot. That’s why, this year, we’ve launched a training focused on talking with someone from the LGBTQI+ community who is thinking about suicide. This training is available in both Dutch and English. Having a conversation about suicide can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone.
